New terminal is beautiful. My father has kept his plane here for many years and I've always enjoyed flying with him. Lots of great memories at this airport!

I took my 83 year old friend Harold( who use to be a private pilot) to Cherokee Airport on Sunday afternoon. Harold has a little dementia,blind in one eye and has kidney failure.He was looking for a Cherokee plane, when we first arrived and we didn't see one; we were just about to drive home and there it came, flying in on the airstrip.He was excited, that was the kind Harold use to fly.
